CM9HL is a lightweight true condenser shotgun microphone which is designed especially for professional to apply in film production, video, television, narration and ENG industries...etc.
CM9HL features wide frequency response and consistent pickup quality while pickup in different angles, especially in mid-range and high frequency. Different from other shotgun microphones, CM9HL provides wider pickup directivity which makes it an ideal microphone in field recording application. When holding a boom pole, the off-axis performance of CM9HL makes it easier to keep the sound sources within its pickup area. CM9HL really improves the recording quality compared to the other shotgun microphones.

Moreover, CM9HL is equipped with the high frequency boost to enhance the clarity of the speech intelligibility, a steep high-pass filter to remove voice from wind and boom, a mildness high-pass filter to compensate the proximity effect. There is also a pair of LED indication beside each high-pass filter to display on/off which are useful in dark environment. It is the blessing for audio engineer to assemble CM9HL onto the boom pole due to its lightweight.
